| Front View | The A1020 drive is externally identical to the 1571 drive for the 64/128. The drive came bundled with a software PC emulator called Transformer, allowing one to read MSDos disks. |
| Rear View | The back of the A1020 was slightly different to the 1571, it features a power connector, an on/off switch and a through port. |
| Bottom View | Being a very large and clunky drive it still complements the original A1000 perfectly. These drives did not sell in large numbers, most people chose the A1010 drive in favour of these old type floppies. |
