Manufacturer: | Commodore | Expansion ID: 186 |
This is a very rare turbo version of the original A2088. This version was not designed in Germany, but at the Commodore HQ at West Chester. It has a NEC V20 CPU running it (max) 9Mhz, making it twice as fast as the original A2088XT. It also has the ability to daisy chain the internal floppy drives of the A2000, removing the need for a dedicated drive. This version is an early rev 3.1 card, which has rework (cables) routed at the back. |
Front View | The A2088T is a bridgeboard of West Chester design. It uses a NEC V20 CPU at 8Mhz, making it double the speed of the original A2088XT german design Bridgeboard. |
Rear View | What makes a nice feature on this Bridgeboard is the ability to passthrough the standard internal floppy drive. Just like the A2386 this means you do not need a dedicated floppy drive! |
